ERIC VIEIRA, E.I., LEED AP
Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Mr. Vieira is a graduate from the University of South Florida, with both a
Mechanical Engineering degree and an Electrical Engineering degree. He first
worked as
an intern with CEA in 2006, and then became a full time employee in 2007
when he graduated. His responsibilities include designing HVAC systems for all
manner of
facilities with a concentration on governmental, commerical and
"green" projects. In addition, he utilizes his engineering expertise to develop
heating
and cooling load calculations, verify building and system compliance
with current energy codes, develop life cycle cost analysis of
mechanical
systems,
energy analyses, and developing Energy Models for LEED compliance.
Mr. Vieira became a LEED Accredited Professional in January 2009,
and has
designed for multiple LEED projects. He has also been the
Commissioning Agent
on a variety of LEED
projects, as well.
PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Project Manager, Mr. Vieira will oversee a project from
design development
through construction completion. He will prepare the construction documents
and project specifications, attend project design/coordination meetings, perform
project site surveys to ascertain existing conditions, review shop drawings, and visit
the project site during construction.
