Project Manager/Mechanical Engineer
PROFESSIONAL RESUME
Mr. Vieira is a graduate from the University of South Florida, with both a Mechanical Engineering degree and an Electrical Engineering degree. With CEA since 2006, his responsibilities include designing HVAC systems for all manner of facilities with a concentration on K-12, universities, nursing homes, government, and "green" projects. In addition, he utilizes his engineering expertise to perform heating and cooling load calculations, verify building and system compliance with current energy codes, develop life cycle cost analysis of mechanical systems, and create Energy Models in compliance with the latest edition of ASHRAE Standard 90.1.
Mr. Vieira became a LEED Accredited Professional in January 2009, and has provided mechanical design for multiple LEED projects. He has also been the Commissioning Authority for a variety of LEED projects.
PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Project Manager, Mr. Vieira will oversee a project from start to finish. He will meet with the client, survey, create design development documents, provide construction documents and project specific specifications, and assist with the bidding and negotiation phase. He will attend coordination meetings, review shop drawings, assess and approve Pay Applications, and visit the project site during construction. Project site visit reports will be provided on a regular basis. He will provide record documents upon completion of the project as required.
