Based in Tampa, Florida in the Citrus Park business district, CEA serves the state of Florida providing Mechanical Consulting Services. CEA's principal John W. Wells, III, PE and staff have over 30 years of combined engineering experience. Under Mr. Wells' leadership, CEA employs the philosophy of undertaking each individual project with a standard of professionalism maintained throughout the entire staff. It is this sense of achievement and enthusiasm that sets CEA apart from the rest.
In February of 2009, Mr. Wells was bestowed the Distinguished Service Award by ASHRAE, a prestigious award given to ASHRAE members who have served the Society in multiple capacities, and held only by 8 previous members of the Florida West Coast Chapter of ASHRAE.
Mr. Wells was honored to be named the 2007 Engineer of the Year by the Florida West Coast Chapter of ASHRAE in February of 2008.
CEA is a certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE) with the following organizations: Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners, Hillsborough County Public Schools, City of Tampa Florida, Tampa Port Authority, Pinellas County, and The City of St. Petersburg.
CEA currently has Continuing Contracts, or is part of a Continuing Contract Team, with Port of Tampa Bay, United States Postal Service, MacDill Air Force Base, Pinellas County Government, Pinellas County Schools, Hernando County Schools, The City of St. Petersburg, and The City of Tampa.
Mr. Wells and Mr. Vieira are both LEED Accredited Professionals, and both are members of the U.S. Green Building Council.
